To my dedicated followers,
I would like to take the time now to explain how only twenty four hours per day is simply not enough to accomplish all the you want to in that one day. This awareness has stemmed from my recent increase in workload at uni (this was to be expected as it is nearing the end of semester), my need to work a part time job to fuel my life, my training nights doing judo and my unfulfilled desire to do more sport.
In the last few weeks I have found it very much difficult to organise all these activities. This is particularly because of the inconsistent nature of working as a casual and the unforseen circumstances from uni that consume much time. For example, last week I had to resit my maths mid semester exam. Now this wasn't because I had failed so badly they felt bad for me or even that I was ill. This was because of a simple fire alarm which had very unthoughtfully decided to do its job 15 minutes before the exam was finished. I can understand having to resit the exam (which conincidentally was on my birthday) but it had indeed cut into my social activities I had planned for that night (i.e drinking a few beers and then admiring John Mayer's brilliant guitar skill at his concert).
In the end it was all very well and good; and I didn't even miss the beginning of the concert, although I did miss a few beers :(. But, unfortunately this is the life of a uni student. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice the social life or activities you enjoy doing due to unforseen circumstances.
I guess this is a very good point on the importance of time organisation but that's another whole blog ;p.
So anyway I just hope you now understand my dissatisfaction of a day being only twenty four hours long.
